In May 2018, Roz Barr Architects were commissioned to design a “ Pop-up ” in Harrods, London for the luxury accessories label – Chaos. The aim was to create a piece of furniture in which to display the phone cases, lanyards and other accessories using a language that emulated the elegance and quality of the product and its materiality. The playful nature of the piece, frames the items. The simple forms of the folded sandblasted brass plate that hold the white lacquered ash cabinets and the leather writing pads, simply lock together and the display can be viewed from any side. The leather writing pads are made from Chaos’s own khaki leather in order to show the quality of the products within the installation.

We also developed individual shelving display frames for displaying individual pieces made in folded 2mm sandblasted brass sheet. These box frames are 300mm x 300mm and complete this installation for Chaos.
